Rotonda, South West Florida is located near beautiful Cape Haze, Boca Grande & Englewood on the Gulf of Mexico. This relaxing area is the perfect spot for enjoying a laid back, quiet vacation. There are outdoor activities for every adventurer. You can jet ski, parasail, fish or charter a boat from one of the areas marinas. There are numerous golf courses and nearby there are many beautiful beaches all within 10-15 minutes.Pine Valley has the newest golf course on Rotonda, opened in January 2008. This is rumoured to be one of the best golf courses in the Charlotte County area and Minslake is ideally located to this as you can view it from across the lake at the same time as wild life of otter, osprey and many others are often seen on Rotonda whilst in the inter-coastal you will nearly always see dolphin and even occasionally a manatee. For the nearby beaches on Boca Grande and Minnesota Cay, as well as the beaches on Palm Island and Don Pedro Island which are only accessible by boat. Boat rental is easy and very popular. A Shopping Mall is only 10 minutes, with two massive shopping Outlets Ellenton and Miromar only a 40 minute drive away. There is a host of fantastic restaurants all very locally. Rotonda has its own park, with tennis and children's play area just 5 minutes from home.
