A Special Order lets you secure select styles in advance. These pieces are produced in limited quantities and tend to sell out quickly.

Special Orders are made specifically based on confirmed orders. While they are shipped at a later date, this process helps ensure your size and style are secured.

All other items on the website (that are not marked as Special Orders) are ready to ship.

The estimated shipping date for each Special Order is mentioned on the product page to help you plan your purchase.

Orders are shipped as per the date shared, and in some cases, may be dispatched earlier.

Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details. Delivery typically takes 3–5 business days after shipping.

Special Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, as these pieces are produced in limited quantities and made specifically based on confirmed orders. Pre-ordering helps secure your style in advance.

If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the in-stock pieces will be shipped as per standard shipping timelines, while the pre-order items will be shipped as per the estimated shipping date mentioned on the product page.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details once each shipment is dispatched. 

Once your order has been placed, it takes 1-2 business days to process. All orders are dispatched from our Mumbai, India warehouse. Orders placed on the weekend or public holidays will be processed the following business day.

Please allow an additional 2-3 business days for dispatch during sale periods.

Once your order is shipped, your order will be delivered within 3-5 business days. Please note that delivery timeframes are in addition to processing times.

We offer free shipping for orders over $250.

For other orders, a delivery fee will apply depending on your shipping destination. This information will be displayed during checkout.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email containing a tracking link. This information can take up to 24 hours to update after your order has been shipped.

If you have entered an incorrect shipping address on your order and your order has not been shipped, please contact our customer support team at support@summeraway.com as soon as possible. 

Please note that once your order has been shipped from the warehouse, we are unable to change the shipping address.

We do not have a refund policy. All returns are processed as store credit only.

Please note that all returned garments must be in original condition, unworn, with all the tags attached and in the same packaging that they arrived in. If your return does not meet this criteria, it will be the customer's responsibility to have their items collected from our warehouse.

To return your item/s, please read our returns policy to check your item/s are eligible for a return. If your item/s meet the conditions of return, you can submit a returns request via our online returns portalhere.

Returns may take up to 3 to 5 business days from the date of delivery to be assessed and processed by us. Once your return has been processed, you will receive a notification via email with the store credit.

The credit amount for returns apply to the purchase price of the garments only. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable. Return shipping charges are deducted from the credit amount.

Store credit notes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Once your return has been received at our Mumbai warehouse, our returns team will process it within 3-5 business days. You will receive an email notification once your return has been processed.

You can exchange an item only once by registering it on our returns portal here.

If you receive a faulty item, please contact us at support@summeraway.com with your order number and a photo of the defect. Our Support team will assist you promptly.

If the item is deemed faulty, we will offer a replacement. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered. Items damaged by normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions are not considered faulty.

Items marked as Final Sale are not eligible for returns or exchanges. Final sale products are labeled as “Final Sale.” All items purchased during our sale will only be eligible for store credit.

The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. Summer Away does not cover return shipping costs.

All store credits issued as a refund method will be issued as a gift card. You will receive this gift card on your order email. The email will contain a voucher number that you must apply to your cart. The voucher will remain valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

To use your gift card, follow the steps below:

1. Add items to your cart and select 'Checkout.'
2. Enter your delivery address and click 'Proceed to Pay.'
3. Choose your delivery method and click 'Proceed to Pay.'
4. Under payment methods, select 'Use Shopify Gift Card.'

If you would like to make updates to your order and your order has not been shipped yet, please contact our customer support team - support@summeraway.com as soon as possible. 

Please note that once your order has been processed, we are unable to make changes to your order. 

If you no longer wish to proceed with your order, our Support Team will be able to facilitate a cancellation at your request. Please contact our customer support team - support@summeraway.com urgently.

Unfortunately, once an order has been picked and packed, we are unable to make any changes to your order. 

Please read the washcare label in your garment to care for your Summer Away pieces and extend its longevity.

Dry Clean Only: Garments with this care tag need to be professionally dry-cleaned. The process involves a cleaning method using a solvent other than water. 

Hand wash: These garments must be washed by hand and cannot be put in the washer. Please do not wring or twist as this can distort the shape of the garment. You can then reshape the garment and lay flat to air dry.

Wash Cold: Select cold water on a gentle setting on your washer. These garments should be laid flat to air dry.
